Every move that Trump makes to honour his promises will see Democrat pressure groups dive into the US Supreme Court.
Whether or not he has to pass new laws will also act as a delay as we can expect Filibusters by Democrats.
The heavy influence of criminals on Democrats has seen the creation of sanctuary cities where criminals can move around without fear of arrest. So how Trump can operate in these corrupt cities remains to be seen. He has given no detail, just a trust me reply.
If he manages to wrest control away from the pro criminal Democrats can only be a welcome example to the rest of the world. There needs to be a massive blowback against the agents of chaos that are hell bent on the destruction of the Western world.
Isolationism is the field where the rest of the world will be hoping fails. I would like to see a modification of the existing status quo where eg NATO members pull their weight and not bludge of the Yanks. To weaken NATO could easily turn out to be a bad move. Economic Isolationism in its purest form would be a massive disruption to world trade. I can only see, in practice, some tinkering here. Trump can't afford to wreck his reputation by crashing the US economy so I expect only token slapping of China, Mexico etc.
