Agree financial discipline was a problem, but the worst of it occurred before WP became CEO. You could argue that he wasn't quite aggressive enough with his "code red" but without it the company would have foundered some time ago. Clearly he thought they had turned a corner until the latest fumble.
Its still not clear what happened, although surely he knows by now.
