On the 26th of the 5th 2008 this stock closed around $4.08.
On the 25th of the 7th 2011 it closed around $3.91
There were several reasons It traded favourably.
One reason was it had it's own Port Facilities' which from memory were much sort after by others in the industry.
I have not looked at it for years, but if indeed it still owns and or rents to others valuable Port Facilities it may well be on the way back as the price of Iron Ore Comes back.
The same thing happened to Santos, the price of oil dropped and the S/P went with it , Santos has recently doubled in price as the oil price as regained strength.
Some one with more time and Knowledge than I may want to add some thing about those Port Facilities owned by AGO.
This year could be the infrastructure year.
