Alan, if I were told that John Howard is going to djck date how to run my country, I'd tell him to get stuff. Pitty us who haven't the choice! First they come and take the land away, then they exploit the whole indigenous population, turn it into slaves and soldiers for them, take all the money out of the country and then, when payback time comes -and in such circumstances payback will be as brutal as the initial takeover by the whites- the whites scream, "Democracy, Democracy!" Where was it when they did the confiscation of the land and land rights and civil rights and a whole lot of other things as well? No I don't like the way Mugabe is behaving but I sure as hell don't like the way the poms behaved only 50 years ago, (starting from much earlier, of course), dividing the globe according to their god, Mammon! As for Howard, to think that this small-minded hypocrite is part of that clan, raises the value of those you call "basket cases." They are so, because they were made to be so and remain so.
