For everyone's edification. From freight forwarders via Chinese Govt
The lunar new year holiday has been extended to the end of this week in most major cities and indefinitely in Wuhan.
Therefore no goods being manufactured in China until at lest next week (approx 1 week afterward for everyone to get back to work and start things up.) This is a problem for exports from China and also imports (not sure on imports as not my area). However almost all traders in and out will have had stocks in place before the new year so stocks not running out.......yet.
Anyone doing JIT from China is starting to get nervous.
