Sure, we all want to make money....the risk is high when investing in small caps/start up or techs (so unloved here in Australia!). I only invest what I can afford to loose, but I also invest in companies which I think might make this world (or in this case the classroom!) a better place...call me a "sentimental investor" (asb?), old fashioned or an idealist....but I sleep better knowing that I have put my money towards a good cause. What the market and the people who run the companies do is beyond our control. I am only responsible for my own actions.
