I guess we should prepare for a volitile week. For those who dont know US banks start reporting Wednesday our time through to friday where other economic data will hitting simultaneously..including cpi, initial claims , retail sales, business inventories and numerous other surveys. Bank reporting has traditionally been a window on the economy and worse than generally perceived could cause a cluster duck.
bank reporting here equally as important...forward looking or not the market WILL react to very bad numbers. Recent bank stress tests in the US should mitigate some fallout. The way markets have been of late i guess anything could happen.
