Peter King was the wrong CEO for the Board to pick IMHO. he was too close to the governance, risk and compliance scandals.
There is no evidence that the governance, risk and compliance scandals have been corrected as yet and WBC does not appear to have engineered a clean out and replacement of the problems in that area.
If they have, they have been silent about it, which is even worse and could indicate problems to come IMHO but pls DYODD.
Sometimes the event at the heart of the scandal is not as bad as the coverup itself.
