    While the Port of Newcastle was cautious on numbers as too early to call, the mention of '60 ships' as a possibility for exporting grain even at a very conservative 20000 tonnes per ship is 1.2 million tonnes through this port alone, noting that the first ship (in article) was 35000 tonnes not 20000.

    Port Kembla (NSW) and Geelong (Vic) will be extremely busy and there's already been Pacific National trains down from places like Warracknabeal to Portland's port (Vic) for the first time in five months, with only a solitary train in June 2020 but four or five this week (November 2020). I assume there'll also be limited grain exports from the Port of Melbourne at Appleton Dock.

    GrainCorp's market share of the grain crop won't yet be known but one outdated media report (probably referring only to east coast of Oz: not clear whether WA was omitted) said GrainCorp had a 42 per cent market share.
