Looks like GrainCorp (and other) wheat trains are again operating from Yarrawonga Vic and Oaklands NSW. This line branches from the main Melbourne - Sydney line at Benalla Vic.
The Australian Rail Track Corporation (lessee of the line) advises (presumably as a result of the recent derailment near St James Vic):
Commencing forthwith and until further notice the following restrictions apply for the movement of trains on the Benalla - Oaklands corridor.
All EMPTY rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 50 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
All LOADED rail movements are restricted to a maximum speed of 30 KM/H in either direction unless a lower Temporary Speed Restriction has been applied.
(*) Rail movements will not be permitted to run on the Oaklands line between 1200hrs and 2000hrs when the forecast (Yarrawonga BOM) air temperature is 36°C or above.
