Software developed at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) was purchased by NASA and used in space flight.

Lazaros Iliadis, a professor at the University of Thrace, spoke about this achievement on the show "Society Hour MEGA".

According to the professor, the software was made on behalf of Brainchip Holdings USA and is the neuromorphic chip Akida that is now used in the control of space flight, offering the required security software.

The chip will function like the human brain and works by generating and transmitting electrical signals.The software receives data from the real world and converts it into a spatio-temporal sequence of electrical signals.
