Actually its not the first of its kind. China has had facial recognition for years. It works well...ask anyone who has been re-educated.
The casino gig that BRN had going never amounted to a single dime in revenue and to this day has not been taken up. That was the glowing light maybe 3 years ago but alas like everything else it turned to dust.
And as I have said....there are very few "at edge" AI technologies around. Xnor.ai is one...and Apple own it now....that is a wait and see tech.
BRN have a distinct advantage here....they have to use it and do it quick...simple as that. The company has a real advantage at this moment....we have to h@pe they stay on top of it.
