When this robot was first announced I thought it might be a nice toy for the grandchildren but thinking again about it would be rather useful in these Covid times if it could talk to the smart camera doorbell and tell you who was at the front door if for some reason at that precise point in time you were up a ladder changing a light bulb or were disabled waiting for your caregiver to arrive but having needed to attend the bathroom. In such cases you could ask the robot to allow access.
Now you might say you could just carry a device but having had the care of very elderly parents the reason they need care is because they forget to carry such devices. Having a faithful robot to follow them around would be extremely useful.
Anyway just some thoughts about the utility of such a device.
My opinion only DYOR.
