Amazon and LG appear to be working together on AI inference at the edge. However, this is not the far edge that is only accessible by Akida. Rather, Amazon is promoting it's cloud offerings while LG appears to have an accelerator of sorts.
As others such as Tech have previously referenced, LG may be the South Korean company LDN occasionally refers to. There are mentions of Smart Home applications on this page which would definitely benefit from Akida.
