I can see what happened and am satisfied in my own mind.

The table and the Tiger were both presented as new objects at the same time and given one label, Tiger.

As far as a "One Shot" learning perspective goes, this makes sense, to me at least..

When other objects were introduced, Akida then had something new to learn, which was basically sitting on top of part of the Tiger or "TableTiger"

Is part of a Tiger, still Tiger?

I can understand how he became confused, because what he was originally "taught" was incorrect.

It was never meant to be a "real World" situation and any "teaching" would go beyond "One Shot" if required.

Having the ability to confuse A.I. is huge in itself, as it provides the avenue to understand why it made the mistakes and how to "teach" it to avoid them in future.

Making mistakes, is how we as humans learn and grow after all

I know there are many points that you can attack in my post, such as "that means it's not ready" etc..

But they are moot, as the technology is ready, it just needs to be "taught" and applied in the correct way.
