Yep, dilusion can be the consequence of a brain gone wrong. But for most, we are able to seperate fantasy from reality. We can entertain imaginary worlds but we know not to act on them. The danger in creating an artificial brain is that you create something that is strong in one aspect of intelligence but does not have the human sophistication to differentiate between fantasy and reality. I cannot see how an algorithm can be written for that.
