Having worked for European & US listed big corporate in the past & being involved with new technology being launched into the market I can confirm that we had numerous delays, teething problems & an assortment of surprises along the way.

We also had to build pilot plants & provide them to the customer for evaluation prior to any revenue being generated. We could not sell the new technology as it had to be proven via the pilot plant to the customers satisfaction before they would commit to a full scale plant.

From initial contact with the customer the lead time to pilot plant & full scale plant was numerous years. The larger the customer the longer the delays dealing with all the bureaucracy & the various departments within the company including engineering, finance, new products, R&D etc.

During all the delays & ups/downs our CEO & staff remained optimistic as we were confident in the technology. Plans would be made with timelines which would have to be extended due to surprises along the way due to the technology being new.

We were under pressure to perform & we continuously worked hard as we had shareholders to please much like the BRN staff. I would spend hours on the telephone at midnight to head office in the US due to time difference on numerous nights in an effort to resolve problems. Eventually we would deliver as promised albeit with delays beyond our control. In the meantime, the patient educated understanding shareholders were rewarded & the impatient were long gone probably with their tail between their legs.

These things take time, require a great deal of persistence & patience.

Invest in the local take away food shop if you want quick revenue but don't expect much growth year on year.
