Information received overnight is that the cooling-off period has passed a while back, and our new NED is entitled to purchase shares if he so wishes.

Some think it is important that an NED does own shares as it aligns with shareholders interests, others feel that an NED's independence would/could be forfeited by doing so.

An example is Fortescue Metals.....

An NED must own shares equivalent to his/her base fee, that includes committee fees and company super contributions, and these shares must be purchased within a 5 year period.

So, I'll stick with my view...I'd like to see Geoff start to purchase some shares in the company he has followed for sometime now...pity he didn't get in before we bounced off our all-time lows, that's if it fell outside the cooling-off period that is.

I have heard back from both company contacts, who have vowed to provide me/us with an answer regarding Peter's elusive presentation.
