They are using Nvidia’s platform. These factory use cases where connection and power are not an issue will be off the radar for the foreseeable future because Nividia is too dominant.

The use cases for AKIDA at this stage are going to be where it is connection and power constrained or where cost is the driving concern.

NASA provides the first use case perfectly as you cannot get less connected, or more power constrained than space.

Electric vehicles need power directed to the wheels not the electronics and remote areas, tunnels and weather create connection issues.

Vibration monitoring of railway systems require low powered unconnected devices.

Domestic use for smart homes is also a target market as cost and connection are primary consumer concerns.

Then health. Connection issues can generate life or death scenarios and portability is critical.

Finally Cybersecurity. An unconnected device that can stand alone in your system intelligently monitoring for previously unseen repeating patterns to block attacks has universal appeal.

AKIDA’s playground is all the use cases that are currently impossible for present technology to service. David A. Chapa hit the nail on the head with his reference to how powerful the AKD1000 is and all within a 28nm chip running on uW and mW’s of power without the need to use any external memory or computing power.

Its just a matter of waiting for the CEO stated announcements in early 2021 or possibly late 2020.
