The other day Space Cadet found a link between Brainchip, WSU and Cochlear. WSU currently have a job opening that is very relevant:
The Centre is seeking an outstanding researcher to complement and strengthen investigations on the development of analogue and digital neuromorphic hardware and systems. The successful applicant will be involved in the design of smart neuromorphic sensors, such as silicon cochleas, retinas, and tactile sensors.
This seems to link quite well with Anil's presentation about how Akida can be used for all the five senses
