A podcast is just another way of saying "we have something to say and it it might be easier to explain it in spoken words".
What's the point in a podcast if there is nothing new to say? My guess is they have an announcmnent pending and will follow that up with the podcast to help explain it in better detail.
Following the logic of an announcement pre podcast, the delay, well in business there could be a number of reasons why. But I'm leaving my money in, because I believe something is to be announced and the podcast will be the "let's get into the details" type stuff.
