There was an inordinate amount of discussion about Socionext providing funding, before BRN decided to offer shares to Regal for 3 cents.

When I talk of ‘irrational exuberance’ and suggest caution with BRN, I invite fellow Coppers to remember it wasn’t long ago that Regal was ‘given’ over 100 million BRN shares for 3 cents each. This at a time when we were all talking about the Socionext partnership, the impact it would have upon Akida, and the huge expectation most of us had/have for BRN.

If BRN is on the cusp of greatness, why did they have to discount the share price so much? If BRN was about to prove groundbreaking IP with the production of the Akida chip, why deal with Regal?

Just a couple of reasons to resist ‘irrational exuberance’ without considering another - NDA’s aside, why has the Akida IP not had a single sale twelve months after being offered to the world?
