Since tensor is not semiconductor/chip manufacturer but develop and commercialize low cost space delivery and smallsat technologies I'm not too worried. NASA probably didn't request Tensor to use Akida for their CubeSat and left the decision making to Tensor themselves, as long the requirement is met.

I'm with FF's opinion in regards to DARPA SWaP program requirement, also let's not forget Tensor project is only a sat project which is way smaller in scale than future space exploration program, that will have tens of thousands more and stricter requirement than an small cube thrown into earth's low orbit
