Yeah i had the same thought. I see renesas as the distributor really. Maybe with a bit of integration or modification in between. Why would they buy our product to hold in a warehouse waiting for sales. If they want to move quick, then it's obvious they have buyers waiting.
my thoughts are, Renesas have a contract to supply x amounts of chips that can perform special tasks and they are integrating akida. The only problem with this is that it might be kept on the down low until we see it in our financials.
