I note last week when the Daimler CEO said “There are two technological trends that we're doubling down on: electrification and digitization," Ola Källenius told CNBC's Annette Weisbach. The Stuttgart-headquartered firm was "pouring billions into these new technologies,".
There’s plenty of attention given in the media to electrification means EVs, but scant explanation of what is meant by digitisation or any consequences of this.
