My son after I rejected his technology vision for my practice nicknamed me ‘technophobe’ so my situation on this site is inexplicable to me. This was my approach when I first posted on HC and was asking questions and being abused and ridiculed so not an ego thing.
None of us know what influence we will have on others and sometimes things we do and say to our surprise lead others to take action which we never expected. I am sure we have all received a gift from someone that was bought in the expectation that it was exactly what we wanted based on something we did or said that to the gift giver signalled our desire.
So do not sell short the influence you may have on others. I enjoy your posts and I am sure others do as well. Once this occurs a level of trust develops and once you have trust you have influence.
Anyway my opinion only.
