Hi Rob,
Samsung has been a frequent subject of discussion here (IoT, home security, cameras, phones ...) and Renesas has an Akida IP licence which it may be designing into its next generation vehicle controller ...
So if Samsung are serious about getting a start on competitors EV controllers, I imagine their DD will involve a close inspection of the Renesas Akida IP licence.
Given the potential size of the market ...
I can't see the elephant in the room, but I smell peanuts.
