Actually, given the fact that the shadows or marks on the wall and the apparent gap between the wall and the steps, I think my original perception was correct, it is moving down the wall, I reckon. esp.
A bit of time on my hands as we await developments, however I would be interested to hear how AI would deal with this question. esp. I'll get off this site now and see if anyone responds, later.
