Macquarie is a banking platform with similar options and capability as CommSec. I’ve used both and transferred from CommSec to Macquarie. Mainly for SMSF.
CommSec I didn’t find intuitive to use however Macquarie I found easy and straightforward. Everything can be accessed from the home page.
IG is more relevant from trading Indices, FOREX, and commodities. There are other functions you can access also that the banking platforms don’t offer on their standard platform. Eg Pre-setting limit entry and stop orders which is very useful info you are a professional trader.
There are many other platforms of course that I’m unaware of. I have had pro traders recommend IG, Saxo, and CQG.
