Obviously Bob Zhou still has close connections with Brainchip even though he is now a Professor at Birmingham. I would assume he has a right to continue his outside consultancy work with Brainchip.
The last four research papers he has co-authored have all been about SNN and deep SCNN for Lidar in autonomous vehicles which makes the CEO’s comment that Brainchip is finding a sweet spot with Lidar most exciting.
The performance figures well above state of the art that Bob and his fellow researchers are reporting is pointing to an almost guaranteed take up of AKIDA technology for Lidar sensing in ADAS and AV.
Will the first be Ford, Valeo, NASA or ???
