Peter van der Made stated at 2018 AGM that you would only need 12 AKIDA chips to replace all the chips currently use in a ADAS motor vehicle. This included spares for redundancy in the event of a failure by the way.
Massive cost saving to an auto manufacturer over a couple of million vehicles.
