Sorry homeales could not resist reminded me of a joke that I read in a Mad Magazine when I was a child waiting for a hair cut. "How do elephants avoid stepping on ants? They wear rippled sole shoes."

Anyway on a serious note. We are told that we have something like 30,000 investors in Brainchip now. Large institutional superannuation funds such as Australian Super permit those who hold their superannuation with them to select shares to be bought in their name within the fund with the stipulation that the nominated share must be part of the ASX 300 at least.

It has been a recurring theme here on HC over a number of years across a range of threads that retail shareholders will ask questions about how they can buy shares in their superannuation fund. In recent months it has again been the topic of discussion here as well.

So lets say 10 percent of the 30,000 shareholders which is 3,000 all directed Australian Super as an example to buy 10,000 BRN shares at 55 cents that would be $16.5 million dollars in additional liquidity. This additional liquidity would in all likelihood be stabilising in that such investments are likely to be for longer term holding rather than trading.

The suggested 10,000 shares would only cost $5,500 so it could well be that these investors might decide to spend $10,000 of their superannuation and some even more so adding this to the comments of @greatlake I would expect it to be a positive event for all investors.
