We would definitely need to strengthen our cryptographic functions FF -- stronger encryption for data in transit ... which would slow down things like VPN, secure communications... and thus increase the need for edge computing (and also, if quantum computing allows vastly more data to be processed, it means there's more demand for pattern recognition )
