Take for example the invention of the pneumatic tyre could anyone have predicted what changes this would lead too in the transportation industry.
There are some inventions like say the nut and bolt, the screw, the nail, spot welding which have been fundamental to all development.
Artificial General Intelligence at the edge is technology of this type and to place it at the edge opens up yet to be imagined possibilities.
For AKIDA1000 one possibility which has definitely been imagined and proven is in the electronic nose industry as part of AERO.
