Homeales,
China, along with many other countries, PCT National Phase filing deadline is 30 months after priority date (1 November 2018) with possible 2 month extension. So deadline is 1 May 2021. EU has 31 month deadline.
So, as you point out, we seem to be ahead of the game with our China National Phase application.
Maybe hoping to get in before international relations detioriate any more?!
