I know a thing or two about the CCP and their acquision strategy re. technology. I suspect BRN, by engaging chinese counsel have done little more than tell the CCP where to look. They certainly won't be rushing to protect western tech.
If I was BRN I'd be keeping everything on an airgapped network and engaging as many COMSEC experts as possible and move quick. Because as soon as the CCP have stolen Akida (if they haven't already) they won't waste any time commercialising it.
