It's game playing by computer bots on behalf of institutions and brokers to manilulate the price. They don't have to play by the rules of we ordinary citizens and so try to play the market to accumulate shares at a lower price. So they do multiple small trades to push the price lower, often as cross-trades of a few shares (happening today), put false large buy or sell orders in to panic people and pull the order when its almost about to be filled. The list goes on. Jerks. But there is a real tug-of-war going on today between 11 and 11.5 cents. Looks like the SP might find support at 11.5 cents at the end of the week.
