I find the restricted peripheral vision in the video quite unnerving not to mention the fact that no account of what is happening to the rear is displayed so I really hope this is not what the Tesla Auto Pilot sees. Then there is also the absence of any apparent ability to hear such things as emergency service vehicle sirens or other noise which could prompt a driver to react or be on guard. Not that explosions or crashes are that common but here in Sydney you do have to monitor for newly constructed high rise collapsing (just kidding) but it is the unexpected event which human brains are very good at navigating and the present technology is still not actually intelligent and does not benefit from learned experience.
