I asked someone I’ve known since the early 90’s and who lives in Taichung, if he could find out how TSMC are going with the Akida chip. He knows his way around the the Taiwanese tech sector, so I thought he may be able to get an update. He told me there had apparently been delays, but couldn’t find out why. Perhaps one of you investigative news hounds could discover more?
