I can't find any news on this in the last year and the announcement on their webpage doesn't mention a date.
I personally think this topic is not selling Brainchip well. To me this is the negative aspect of AI, that I don't like at all and I know I'm not alone regarding this this as a former Dane.
In fact, one of several factors that made me move from Denmark is that it's increasingly becoming a police state, violating the constitution. The Danish police has continually changed it's focus away from solving crimes, towards chasing ordinary law-abiding people and using automated surveillance in this regard. They really don't care about serious crimes anymore, from personal experience and from others experience. They are getting increasingly tougher with legal protestors (beating them to injury), they are confiscating jewelry from immigrants, they have police scanners on a large part of their vehicles, they have invested heavily in mobile speed cameras, they put the speedcameras in the trickiest places (not for safty, but for revenue).
Denmark has a lot of rules and regulations regarding surveillance, but the government has been permitting themselves a lot of things, that are indeed violating the constitution. I see that this trend is continuing. While law abiding citizens would be fined for pointing their cameras out of the driveway, public institutions will be able to do surveillance of public places from July 2020. Likewise everything you do on the internet is stored for increasingly longer time and data about you in different public entities is increasingly being correlated.
I could talk hours about it, but fact is, paranoia has left me after moving to Uruguay. As a bonus Uruguay is way more democratic than Denmark have been the last 20 years or so. The police is here to help, not to haunt. The medical system cares about you. Everybody cares about each other and government institutions are maybe bureaucratic but flexible, trying to accommodate you. I'm not missing Denmark one bit and hate it when I have to go back for practical reasons.
And the sun is shining beautifully here in Uruguay.
