Not much has been said recently about Tata Consulting Services and the joint demonstration by Tata and BRN on 14.12.19 of the AKIDA Development Environment performing gesture recognition.

My memory is that the last time it was mentioned it was to highlight the known fact that in one of the slides used for the above presentation by Dr. Arijit Mukherjee of TCS it was stated that TCS was looking forward to building a robotic platform based on AKIDA.

The following is a patent granted to TCS where one of the inventors credited is Dr. Arijit Mukherjee.

The patent when you read it in its entirety is for a system to utilise the learnings acquired by multiple “autonomous learning devices” for the purpose of creating autonomous robots for industrial use and for autonomous vehicles.

While you have to make an assumption that the “autonomous learning device” is AKD1000 I would not think making this assumption and telling people about it would lead to you being sectioned under a mental health act or regulation.
