Very interesting article regarding facial recognition systems given that one of the contributors was giving evidence yesterday to a US Senate Committee considering whether the use by US Police of facial recognition systems should be banned:

The combination of AKD1000 and Magik-Eye which is colour blind could be very significant in the facial recognition space.
Also consider the evidence that black skinned people are not well recognised by facial recognition systems used for security in mobile phones even with training. Does make you wonder who might want to link up with the new partners.
