I m a diagnosed IBS person myself. And I can definitely say that it was a long process to be diagnosed by my doctor. Also caused a lot of mental distress as at the time as I was thinking it could be something much worse.
I hope this new diagnostic test comes out as will help provide a more timely diagnosis and most importantly less stress.
