As a PhD research candidate at ECU, I am working on a thesis titled “NeuroNose: Application of neuromorphic methods for artificial olfactory systems ”. This research focuses on using low-power bioinspired neuromorphic methods for electronic nose systems that would enable real-time and highly accurate classification of odours. Such systems can be implemented for environmental monitoring, bio-security, defence, and several other applications.
