You might be correct however Socionext state full production release in second quarter 2020 so I would say odds favour nothing before then to give them the jump on competitors. I expect that whoever Socionext is engaged in are tied up in a very strong NDA until that point or even until first revenue is generated.
Not the best at searching patents but have not found one for Socionext at this stage covering hand signal recognition. Others might succeed where I have failed.
