Yep. Unfortunately gap theory is here to stay. There's no logic behind it aside from the fact it exists because people believe it exists. It's a self fulfilling prophecy that is something we need to contend with. I used to be a non-believer but the stats dont lie. Majority of gaps do end up closing as seagull has proven time and time again.
