I think we all have to come to terms with coal companies being a contrarian investment option rather than as a blue chip staple of an investment strategy. coal still makes excellent investment returns and makes economic sense but not sexy.
I too am wondering about when news of Mongolia will come out, am hoping for a trade sale which results in either a nice equity state in a decent sized Chinese company or a big wad of cash to repay some debt.
