Even at $0.014 your still getting in cheaper than buying the underlying. Buying the options doesn't mean that you need to exercise it. If you think the share price is going to rise in the short term you can turn around and sell it back into the market in a week or a month at a leveraged gain without stumping up the full cash to buy the heads (provided there is still someone willing to buy it, which there should be since they still have a year to go till expiry).
