Moree (northwest NSW) received 21.4mm in the 24 hours to 0900 AEST Friday 9 July, Narrabri 24.2mm and Gunnedah 29.8mm while in southwest Queensland just across the border, Goondiwindi had 17.2mm.
Typical even drier Walgett had 7.2mm overnight making a pleasing 24.8mm for the first nine days of July, on top of 36.4mm in June 2021.
Further south Dubbo enjoyed 22mm in the latest 24 hours, but West Wyalong just 3mm.
Overall, it seems from afar in NSW to be a good picture, but a long time until harvest.
