The Weekly Times' on Wednesday 6 October 2021 has a positive story about recent Victorian rainfall in the Mallee and Wimmera, but doesn't quote more than a couple of growers.
One at Birchip (on the Mildura rail line) said the rain would finish the crop off.
Another at Raywood (on the Bendigo to Swan Hill line, well south of Kerang) said his canola crop would benefit.
